Each time you complete a ritual, your nervous system becomes more capable, and your energy is better alchemized to work in your favor.
You only need a couple rituals a week to reap the benefits.
🪄 Here’s a ritual for today:
Yesterday’s ritual may have brought up some tough emotions, so I wanted to keep today’s ritual light and non intimidating (tomorrow’s full moon ritual will be soft and comforting too) - so I present to you…
The power of DONE!!!!!!!!!!!💃🏽
Grab your journal or a sheet of paper. At the top of the page, write down one of your current tasks or goals- size and intensity of the goal is up to you.
Below this, make a detailed list of steps you’ll need to take to complete the task or goal. Include the micro steps, like “walk to kitchen”, and “press send on email”.
Throughout the day, complete just three items on your list. With each completed step, and no matter how large or mirco the step, write DONE in all caps next to each task you complete.
Get creative with it - write DONE with a thousand exclamation marks after it (my personal fav), or perhaps write DONE in a pretty color, or if you feel so inclined, turn on your favorite victory song and do a victory dance for each DONE.
Or all three!!!!!!
Languish in the feeling of DONE! Revel in the feeling of DONE!!! Take your time feeling it and celebrating it and don’t you dare say it’s too much because this ritual teaches us to celebrate the process rather than just the result; this is the kind of affirmation our glitter brains need (and deserve!) to stay motivated! Oh and bonus points: leave a comment letting us know what you checked off your list today!
The Magic in this Ritual:
You’ll see that your biggest dreams are possible- because any goal is just a series of steps.
With every DONE you’ll get a dopamine boost and you know how we love and need those.
You’ll have less decision fatigue because even the small steps are laid out for you.
You’ll celebrate your effort rather than just your outcomes. Our neurodivergent brains often need this kind of reinforcement to stay motivated.

Kloveyoubye.
I definitely need more celebration of the process and not the result! Especially for things that take more than one day, it can feel bad not to have fully finished something, as if all the progress doesn't count until the final piece.
Or for things like laundry, dishes etc where there is never a true "done" when you stop needing to do it again. For those I'm going to pair this with what I'm already doing, which is trying to think of those as a cycle. "I am in the part of the laundry cycle where it needs to get put away", and then add celebrating each small step - gathering hangers, sorting the pile, hanging up some, folding some, etc. ☺️
